Hi everyone,
These have been incredibly challenging times for many of us living in Los Angeles. We had to evacuate our home for a few days, but we ended up being part of the lucky ones who ended up with a home to go back to.
Unfortunately so many families haven't been so lucky and are facing daunting circumstances, trying to figure out how to navigate the overwhelming challenges.
Many of them have young children who don't understand what is happening, having had all that is dear to them taken away so abruptly. That includes their daily entertainment, wherever that might have come from.
Having three children of our own, Ulli and I remember how challenging it was, when they were little and restless.
That was the reason why we created The Brilliant Kid. To provide little ones with educational and entertaining content available on mobile platforms.
Our App is free in the App Store and we have made a lot of the content free for parents in LA to use, but Apple won't let us make the premium content free. The lowest we are allowed to do for the in app purchases is 99 cents, which we have implemented.
We will continue to add free videos on the App. If you decide to buy the in app purchases, we will reimburse you.

This is very little, but we hope it helps parents of little ones get a few minutes to themselves, to deal with the overwhelming challenges they have to deal with.

SUPPORTING OUR BRAVEST

As families prepare to get together for the holidays, many of those who proudly serve our country around the world won't have that luxury. As we heard from members of our own family, one of the most challenging things for parents serving in the military is to be deployed away from their children.
My other company, The Brilliant Kid, is honored to offer this service to all deployed parents.
Record yourself reading one of our books, email us the recording, we will edit your voice in and upload your very own version on our App and YouTube, so your children can watch it over and over, anywhere, anytime.

It's ridiculous to have quite a few FB friends and only 25 are allowed to see posts.
I ignored this post earlier because I didn’t think it worked. It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts...

We are heartbroken about the horrible act that was committed in Colorado.
The dark forces of hate and bigotry have once again showed their ugly faces, and it is simply has to stop. It is imperative, if we are to grow and thrive as a society that we understand, support and love each other, no matter what our differences are.
As many of you know, besides creating movie marketing, I also write children's books. I write about many different subjects with a goal to not only entertain, but also educate.
Thru my interactions with parents on social media, i have met many families from around the world who were faced with extraordinary circumstances, raising children with autism, down syndrome or some other challenges. They were all kind enough to let me tell their stories. Their common goal was to have other children understand and love theirs, no matter how different they seemed.
Earlier this year, i had the great honor of meeting Karina and Kelly, two extraordinary women who struggled their whole lives to be accepted, until they found each other and both decided to have children.
Their story is inspiring and uplifting in so many ways!
For those who will be quick to place judgement and criticism on what i am doing, please know that the composer i collaborate with to create these read along books is the most conservative person I know. Our views couldn't be more opposed, yet we respect, love each other and collaborate, that's how it should be.
We simply cannot choose to dismiss or try to hurt others because they don'y live the way we think they should.

I am proud to share Karina and Kelly's story.
