Thanks to everybody who attended the Savannah workshop, our first comedy intensive of 2026. It was sold out, so another will be coming soon. Please contact us to be added to the wait list or to see about bringing it to your city.
And special thanks to Robert for taking the group selfie along with notes from eleven directors while maintaining a smile. 😀

Bad news: no video until next Friday. Good news: it's because I'm too busy working and processing sign-up requests. Great news: the previous videos are playing well in syndication. 😀

Sorry to report there will not be a Free Follow Friday tomorrow, but there's still the previous videos to watch, or watch again. 😀

SATURDAY SERIALS – HALLOWEEN EDITION
Back in the day, Greg Cover and I created “Gotta Make Them Angels,” in which we killed 12 people in 24 minutes, one of them twice. We both “star” in the short which we co-wrote. He directed, while I produced, although he raised the money which I spent. Our initial financing came from Chad Aldrich (thank you yet again) who was in acting class with us. Chad had a nice day job and a really nice car, so Greg simply asked, “Chad, you want to finance our short?” to which Chad replied, “How much?” and the rest is history. Greg also received money from a Philly connection, so I should quit mocking his Eagles. The point for you: if we can do it, you can do it. Don’t give up on your dreams, especially if they are nightmares for a fun horror film.

FREE FOLLOW FRIDAYS – HALLOWEEN EDITION
Here’s the photo that I mentioned on Facebook Live earlier today. For this Halloween, I wanted to go as Kick-Ass and suggested Theresa go as Hit-Girl, but she said that was a bad idea. The evening of the party, she actually had the costume which was an awesome surprise. To manage future expectations, Theresa clarified that this was a year-one-of-marriage and once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. At the party, we had a crossover with Guardian and Northstar from Marvel’s Alpha Flight. They were happy to be recognized after most had thought they were part of a Canadian luge team.

THEATRE THURSDAY – HALLOWEEN EDITION
Last century, I worked at Netherworld, a walkthrough creature maze. Occasionally, I’d be outside walking the line with a form fitting, full head, demon mask; randomly scaring those waiting to get in.
A good one was to find a group standing in a circle and wait behind one unsuspecting soul who would notice everybody in their group looking behind them, turn to see what it was, and scream their head off.
A better one was for the group to be your family and the victim is your sister-in-law who reacts with a “Ahhhhh!!! Allen?!?” MWAHAHAHA!!!
And the best one is that the t-shirt still fits over twenty years later. Mwahahaha, indeed.
