HAPPY WORLD THEATRE DAY from ! ❤️🎭♥️
🎭Significance of World Theatre Day:
World Theatre Day is essential for advancing theatre as a form of art. Its goal is to promote understanding of its worth, not only as a form of entertainment but also as a means for education, social transformation, and individual development. Theatre unites individuals, nurtures compassion, and enhances awareness of various cultures and experiences. This day motivates people, governments, and organizations to acknowledge and promote the importance of theatre in society and its ability to foster positive transformation.
🎭Here at we believe that Theatre Changes Lives! It cultivates spaces for ensemble building, creative thinking and exploration, as well as experiencing the relationship within the world we live in. Theatre invites students to ask questions, promote a higher level of critical thought, reflect on artistic processes, and share their ideas in an environment where it is safe to take risks. Our theatre classes ask students to reflect on how what we learn not only relates to our education, but to the world around us all while sparking passions, gaining self-knowledge, and fostering a sense of community.
Those of us who are lucky to participate in theatre in any aspect—as an audience, advocate, and especially in a cast or crew of a production—the experience and process bring such an impact to our lives and the lives of others. We create memories, tell stories, and are forever changed…for good 💚
