Chris Kattan’s career has been shaped by fearless physicality and total commitment — qualities that turned Mango, Mr. Peepers, Corky Romano and the Butabi Brothers into legendary characters.
Trained by his father Kip King (a founding member of The Groundlings), Chris went on to spend eight iconic seasons on Saturday Night Live, crafting characters that still echo through pop culture today.
He developed his craft surrounded by an extraordinary ensemble — Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, Tracy Morgan, Amy Poehler, Jimmy Fallon, and more. Now he’s bringing that experience directly to you.
Alongside Chris is Cooper Shaw — award-winning actor, nationally respected acting, voice, and accent coach, MFA-trained, and a faculty member at Second City Hollywood and Second City Online. Cooper has spent years helping actors sharpen their instincts, deepen their emotional truth, and build fully realized characters that feel alive.
Together, Chris and Cooper will guide you through the tools, techniques, and mindset that create characters with dimension, specificity, and undeniable presence.
