Pajarito Mountain is where performance skiers and snowboarders come for breathtaking views, great skiing, miles of runs and a laid back atmosphere. Located at the eastern edge of the Jemez Mountains in Northern New Mexico, 5 miles west of Los Alamos and just 90 m

inutes from Albuquerque and 45 minutes from Santa Fe. Pajarito hosts spectacular views of the Rio Grande Valley and the Valles Caldera National Preserve. Privately owned by the Los Alamos Ski Club and developed in the late 1950s, Pajarito now enjoys 40 named trails and has some of the best bump skiing in the state. Pajarito hosts a ski school, café, and rental facility and a large volunteer ski patrol. Pajarito Mountain is home to an extensive mountain biking trail system, including our renowned corkscrew run tucked away in the trees all served by lift during the summer and early fall. We also consistently host New Mexico Brew Fests with live music throughout the summer. Last winter, National Geographic named Pajarito one of their "Best Secret Ski Towns". For years, Los Alamos was shrouded in secrecy during the Manhattan Project, and the town's ski area was also considered somewhat hush-hush. We're looking forward to making this unique ski area more well known while also preserving and celebrating the rich history behind it.

Aspen lift's getting new comm lines this week. Think of it as the lift's phone line, the cable that lets the top terminal, bottom terminal, and ski patrol all stay in contact so the whole system runs in sync.

The crew's up there now getting it hooked up and tested before the snow shows up. Every corner of this place is getting some love this summer.
