💛 Walking for a Cause! 💛

What an amazing day for our 6th Annual Walk-a-Thon for Spina Bifida!

We were blessed with beautiful, warm weather and had a wonderful time coming together as a school to walk for such a meaningful cause!

Of course, the day wouldn't have been complete without a little extra fun! Students who raised over $150 earned the exciting opportunity to pie Mr. Krueger in the face! What a fun way to celebrate their hard work and generosity!

❤️ Together, we raised an incredible $4,000 for the Spina Bifida Association of Minnesota! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated, supported our walkers, and helped make this year's event such a success! We also want to give a special shoutout to our amazing volunteers who helped everything run smoothly. We couldn't have done it without you!

We are so proud of our school community for coming together, making memories, and making a difference! 💛

A special THANK YOU to McDonald's in Delano, Cub foods in Buffalo, Wise Penny in Buffalo, Culver’s in Monticello, Pizza Ranch in Monticello, and Thrivent for their donations, and to the teachers and staff of Salem Lutheran for helping with this event!

Our 7th and 8th graders had an exciting day exploring the State Capitol! Students had the opportunity to look at the building’s beautiful architectural features, visit the Supreme Court and House chambers, and even get some hands-on experience acting as a legislative subcommittee!

To top off the day, students made their way to the top of the Capitol for an up-close look at the amazing Quadriga!

It was a great day of learning, and exploring!

😎 We’re getting ready for the Spina Bifida Walkathon! 💙

Our students have been getting creative and bedazzling their sunglasses. 🕶️💎 We’re so thankful to be raising money for the Spina Bifida Association of Minnesota and supporting such an important cause. The money raised helps those who have Spina Bifida have a chance to do everyday things that we may take for granted.

Come dressed as your favorite holiday! 🎄🦃❤️🇺🇸 Whether you love Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Fourth of July, or another favorite holiday, show off your holiday spirit and have some fun!

Join us next Friday, the 9th, at 12:15pm as we walk, to show our support for the Spina Bifida community! 💙
