Adileigh Reardon, Audry Lewis, and Isabella Castillo represented our chapter well. They’ve spent countless hours studying, writing, and preparing their projects for moments like this. Congratulations, girls! 💙💛

‼️Ag Awareness Day at the State Fair of Texas 2026 ‼️

38 Longview FFA members had the opportunity to attend Ag Awareness Day at the State Fair of Texas this week!

Each one of these members sold over 20 Fresh Country Fundraiser items which qualified them to attend. 14 Longview High School students, 13 Foster Middle School students, 12 Judson Middle School students, and 3 Forest Park Middle School students were eligible to participate.

Ag Awareness Day provides an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Texas agriculture, with experiences such as the Livestock Birthing Barn, Innovations in Agriculture, Milking Parlor, Pig Races, Farm and Fork University, and many others. Additionally, these students participated in a canned food drive. Across all 174 clubs and chapters that attended, over 25,000 pounds of food were donated!

So proud of these FFA members! 💙💛

This weekend, 8 students from Longview FFA traveled to Waco to compete in Texas Farm Bureau’s Speak Out For Agriculture contest. Students gave a 90 second speech after an hour of preparation. While they did not advance, they learned a lot about agricultural conversations and built connections they will carry with them.
