Red Hawk Elementary Art

Choice-based art program in my Red Hawk Elementary classroom turns it into a studio where my students become artists.

In a Choice-based art program, the classroom becomes a studio, and students are treated as artists. They have the opportunity for individual learning, exploration of materials and techniques, practice, research, and presentation using different studio centers in the art room.

Another successful set-up! The show is up for such a short time if you're in Longmont take a few minutes to stop by the Boulder County Fairground Exhibit Hall. It's the only opportunity to see artwork from every elementary, middle and high school in St. Vrain Valley School District.
