This week we would have been preparing for the Longmont Jazz Festival. It stinks that we had to cancel because of Covid 19 but next year is already in the planning. Have a great Fathers Day weekend.

The Longmont Jazz Association was organized in 1997, incorporated as a
501 (c) (3) corporation in 1998 and presented it's first Longmont Jazz festival that year. The annual festival was originally held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds as part of the County Fair but in 2003 became an independent production. funding was first obtained in 2002 making it possible to organize and support the Longmont

I'm sorry to say that with much hesitation we have decided to cancel the 2020 Longmont Jazz Festival. We value the health and well being of our fans and supporters and with all of the uncertainty think it would be better to join the world in being patient and do our part to slow Covid 19. We will come back next year much bigger and much better. We truly wish health and happiness to each and everyone one of you and your families. We are busy planning smaller events to take place when it's safe to get back together again. :)
We are getting closer to festival time !!!! The official date is Saturday July 18th. We are in the final stages of band selection and should have that nailed down by the middle of next week. If you haven't put it on your calendar, stop and go do it :) A newsletter will be coming out this weekend and I'll give more details. :)
