Our first Slow Saturday event is this week! We are thrilled to begin this series with a kitchen gadget collection for the Inn Between in Longmont. Bring your NEW or GOOD condition kitchen tools to donate to families in need in our community.

Yoga will be offered at 10:30 and 12:30 at the pavilion on the farm and will be taught by the amazing Amanda Meader ($10 suggested donation). Bring your mat and towel.

One of my favorite topics to teach, the 5 senses ✋👀👃🏻👂and our 5 tastes 👅. Students love sharing morning smells like their parents coffee and their baby sibling’s stinky diapers 🤣.... what they saw around the room... sounds in school 🔔... touching the carpet, toys 🧸 and then we tasted... bitter - dandelion greens 🥬... salty crackers... sour lemon 🍋 (oh, the faces 🤣)... sweet grapes 🍇... savory/umami seaweed. These little scientists used all of their senses when trying each food. So much fun!

Rather than trying to post while I’m working the Farmers Market, I thought it would be smart to let you all know in advance. This Saturday I’m creating a delicious old-school roasted pepper and tomato salad for the Pepper Festival! I’m showcasing the brand new Browns’ Farm Niwot! 🌶🌶🌶

I will be teaching at Eisenhower Elementary 🐌

Hey Boulder Valley School District parents! Cooking from the Garden🌱 starts up next week at Douglass Elementary (Douglass Elementary PTO), Fireside Elementary School, Outdoor Classroom, Eisenhower Elementary School and Mesa Elementary.
