Altona Robotics brought home 12 of the 17 trophies at the CO Middle School State Championship — and we couldn’t be more proud of our students, coaches, and families.

Even more exciting… 6 of our 9 state qualifying teams qualified for Worlds!

We’re so grateful for your craftsmanship and for supporting Altona and our students. These trophies are going to mean a lot to the teams who earn them this weekend, and we appreciate you helping make the event feel special before it even begins.

Today, Mr. LaCrosse and Mr. O’Hair had the chance to celebrate our amazing Altona staff with a coffee and treat cart surprise! Our team works tirelessly to support, teach, and care for students each day, and we love finding small ways to show our appreciation for all they do.

Moments like these help us pause, connect, and recognize the incredible people who make Altona such a special place for students and families. We are grateful for a staff that leads with heart, builds strong relationships, and shows up for kids every single day.

Please help us give a HUGE congratulations to Team Phenomenums, a team made up entirely of sixth graders (Eli, Tani, Will, Nico, & Amelia) who just accomplished something truly extraordinary at a 44-team VEX Robotics tournament!

Not only did they battle their way through an incredibly competitive field…
They SWEPT. EVERY. MAJOR. AWARD. 🏆

They are the first 6th-grade team in history to pull off this trifecta, a feat usually dominated by veteran middle school teams. Their teamwork, grit, creativity, and sheer determination were on full display from the first match to the final buzzer.
