Hello FB friends! It's been a while so, here's an update..... Our Pens for Kids UK , Pens for Kids Kenya and Pens for Kids Denmark organizations are going strong but here in the US, shipping expenses have significantly curtailed our efforts. Although we don't advertise and took down our website 2 years ago, we continue to receive pens and ensure they are delivered to African kids and kids in other countries via various non-profit organizations and church groups. Today, we'd like to say a big thank you to Eva in Plano, Texas! Eva sent us large box of school supplies as a mitzvah project - Way to go Eva! This week, we also received a HUGE box of pens collected this summer by a Sunday School class at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax in Oakton, VA. Over 1500 pens for kids! - THANK YOU so much! Your donations are greatly appreciated and we will ensure they are distributed to kids in Kenya and other countries as soon as we can.

The goal of Pens For Kids is to get pens to school children who live in Africa and other poverty stricken countries.
The cost of school items, like pens, is a big hurdle to overcome.
We've received lots of pens lately.... first of all THANK you to Girl Scout Troop #19 in Santa Maria, CA for the BIG box of pens and postage to ship them! Thanks also to go R. Blough in Jacksonville, IL; Michael in Santan Valley, AZ; Wayne Oakland Insurance in Troy, MI; Courtney in Hillsboro, OR; and another large box from Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, NY. Big THANK YOUs to Kacee from Kauses and to KimstaffHR for their support of Pens For Kids. Kacee personally delivered 2000 pens to schools in Tanzania and Kenya this summer.
