Today at East Los Angeles Library 📚 (aka Hikaru Sulu from Star Trek!) shared his incredible story from the internment camp. He’s so well-spoken, funny, and powerful. His message? We are stronger together & diversity is our strength
The line was CRAZY long but he’s 1000% worth the wait. When he got to my book, he SPOTTED my Star Trek dress and called it “GALACTIC” 👩🏽🚀💫 I literally screamed inside. He really loved it!! OH MY! 😭💕

There’s something so full-circle about posting this on the same day Miley Cyrus receives her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She began as an “ordinary girl” living the best of both worlds, and now she’s cementing her legacy as a true icon.
Being at the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary world premiere—and hearing her speak before the film—made the night even more meaningful. It felt empowering, nostalgic, and incredibly special to witness. Go Miley!

Did a photo meet and greet with (The Flash) and (Reverse Flash) at Comic Con Revolution and my heart is still racing!! 💥⚡ Both were such incredible human beings.
✨ Grant noticed my turnout right away and asked if I was a dancer (which I am!) and Tom asked how I was planning to run so he could mirror me — so thoughtful!!
✨ And YES, they both gave the best hugs 🤗💛
I also attended The Flash cast panel with Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh, Danielle Panabaker, John Wesley Shipp, and Carlos Valdes — hearing their stories was pure magic. Tom shared that they’d play these insider games on set where one cast member would mimick blowing air darts and if someone heard it, they had to dramatically fall down on and off set 😂🏹
Still dreaming of a continuation of this version of The Flash — imagine seeing him balance being the Flash while raising two kids 🏃♂️👶👧 The potential is endless!

Weekend recap from Comic Con Revolution ✨
I had the chance to present my panel, “Seal the Honmoon: Healing Demon Patterns Through K-Pop,” as Rumi, and while there were a few hiccups in the beginning, the audience stayed engaged, participated so thoughtfully, and really brought the energy. I’m so grateful for everyone who showed up and shared space with me — I truly hope they all walked away with something meaningful from the mental health and fandom discussion. Catching up on Hannahversary events 💜
Back in late March I hit up the Stoney Clover Lane x Hannah Montana pop up in Newport Beach—it was my first time seeing the brand’s storefront in person and they went all out.
They built a stage for Hannah, Rico’s stand, and even served lemonade and , while the store was packed with bags, patches, and charms featuring official and Hannah Montana slogans. Since purple is my favorite color, I grabbed the lavender f***y pack with an embroidered Hannah Montana signature plus a bag charm and HM logo charm. I had such a great time soaking in the Hannah Montana music, the fun setup, the treats, and all the Disney‑tinged vibes—it felt like reliving fond memories.

Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month with so much energy and joy 🌸✨
Every May we honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of Asian Americans, and Pacific Islanders in the U.S.—a celebration that started as Asian/Pacific American Heritage Week in 1978 and grew into a full month‑long observance in 1992. This moment is rooted in decades of advocacy, resilience, and pride, and it feels powerful to be adding a new creative chapter to it.
This year I hosted the first-ever AAPI cosplay meetup at Wondercon and we had an amazing turnout! So many creatives came together to share their stories, showcase their costumes, and bring their diverse backgrounds into the con space. Seeing everyone connect, collaborate, and celebrate as a community was exactly what this is about.
I’m hoping this is just the beginning and that more AAPI‑identifying cosplayers and artists will join us as this grows. The video highlights cosplayers from a wide range of AAPI backgrounds, each infusing the frame with their unique culture, style, and spirit. We’re not just fans—we’re a creative family, a celebration of diversity in every stitch and every pose.
