Your child’s needs matter. 💙

IEP meetings can feel overwhelming, especially when you're navigating unfamiliar terminology, data, services, and recommendations.

Remember: you are allowed to ask questions.

Ask for explanations. Ask what data supports a recommendation. Ask how progress will be measured. Ask what alternatives were considered. And make sure you understand exactly who will provide your child’s services.

You don’t have to know every acronym or have all the answers to be an effective advocate.
