🎓 SENIOR PICTURE DAYS
🗓 Dates:
Thursday August 13th & Friday August 14th🖼 Poses: Seniors will take 2 poses — Formal and Cap & Gown.
👔 What to Wear: Girls: Bring a strappy tank top to wear underneath the formal drape.
Boys: Wear a light-colored t-shirt to wear underneath the tux.
Note: The tux, drape, cap, and gown will all be provided at the school!

📸 UNDERCLASSMEN PICTURE DAY (Grades 9–11)
🗓 Date: Friday, August 21st✨
Details: All 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students need to come dressed and ready to take their pictures.

We are beyond proud to announce that the South Laurel High School FFA has been named a National 3-Star Chapter! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

For the second year in a row, SLHS FFA has achieved a national 3-Star rating—the highest rating possible! Out of all the chapters across Kentucky, our students and advisors are 1 of only 14 KY FFA chapters to earn this top-tier national distinction.

This incredible honor highlights the dedication, hard work, and leadership of our students, advisors, and supportive community. Thank you to everyone who makes South Laurel FFA thrive!

Please take a look at the drop off and pickup areas for SLHS students. Please follow the yellow arrow pattern when picking up and dropping off. This will ensure a smooth process and keep traffic flowing.

What an incredible day at the Laurel County District Rally! Our South Laurel High School Cardinals brought the noise, brought the energy, and officially brought home the GOAT Trophy for Most School Spirit! 📣🔴⚪

A huge thank you to speaker Willie Spears for delivering an absolute masterclass of an inspiring message to kick off our year—he did an amazing job getting everyone fired up! 🎤✨

We are SO pumped to see all of our Cardinals back in the building this Thursday for the 1st day of school! We can’t wait to start another outstanding year with our incredible team, staff, and students.
