Join us Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Logan County Family Support Center as we learn how to make delicious homemade apple butter! 🍎❤️

Participants who have children in the home will receive items to take home to make their own apple butter, along with a cookbook to write down your favorite family recipes! 📖👩‍🍳

🎉 TABBY DID IT! 🎉

After nearly a year of hard work, determination, and refusing to give up, Tabby has officially finished! She overcame obstacle after obstacle, especially in math, and kept pushing forward even when it was tough.

Today is proof that progress takes perseverance. We are SO proud of you, Tabby! 📚🎓

Logan County Adult Learning Center is excited to offer a **FREE community training opportunity** on **October 16 and October 23!**

Participants will receive:
🫀 **CPR Training**
🩹 **First Aid Training**
💳 **Certification card — FREE!** We will cover the $30 card fee.
💊 **FREE Narcan Training** following the CPR/First Aid class
🎁 Participants will also have the opportunity to receive **Narcan at no cost.**

📅 **Choose either October 16 or October 23**

🎓✨ **HELP ME CONGRATULATE BRIANNA!** ✨🎓

Today, I get to celebrate a very special student and one of those moments that reminds me exactly why I love what I do! ❤️

**Brianna Gordon has officially earned her GED!** 🎓📚 And not only did she pass — she passed with a score **higher than her pretest!** 🙌🏼

Brianna's journey wasn't always easy. There were moments when she didn't believe in herself, but she kept showing up, kept working, and kept pushing forward. I believed in her even when she struggled to believe in herself, and watching her accomplish this has been such an incredible privilege.

After passing her final test, Brianna sent me a message that I will never forget:

“I passed with a score higher than my pretest! I want to take a moment to thank you for never giving up on me and believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself! Thank you for all the time you gave me when I’m sure you had other things to do! I’m going to miss you and Chelsea! Thank you both so much for everything! I’ll never forget y’all for as long as I live! I hope life brings you guys everything you could ever want and more! You guys have changed my life forever and for the better!”* ❤️

Brianna, **YOU** are the reason we do what we do. Your words brought tears to our eyes and reminded us how incredibly special this work is.

Your GED is so much more than a diploma. It represents your determination, your hard work, and the fact that you refused to give up — even when you doubted yourself.

We are going to miss you so much, but we are SO excited to see what the future holds for you! Never forget what you are capable of. Keep believing in yourself, keep chasing your dreams, and remember that this is just the beginning!
