Utah Agriculture in the Classroom is awarding TEN $500 classroom awards to Utah Pre-K–12 core education teachers! Deadline is October 9th, 2026!

These awards support innovative classroom projects that use agriculture to teach core subjects like science, math, reading, writing, social studies, and healthy lifestyles.

Funds can be used for materials like seeds, plants, incubators, hydroponics supplies, greenhouse materials, field trips, and other resources needed for your agricultural project.

🐣 Hatching Science is BACK! 🔬

Ready to bring embryology and hands-on science into your classroom? Join Utah Agriculture in the Classroom for our Hatching Science Professional Development on November 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM in Logan, Utah!

This isn’t just a workshop; you’ll walk away with everything you need to hatch chicks in your own classroom! Each teacher will receive a complete hatching kit, including:

- Brinsea Mini II Advance Incubator
- Laser-cut 90 Qt Sterilite chick brooder
- Shavings
- Feeders and waterers
- Heat lamp and bulb
- Chick starter feed
- Curriculum materials and more!

Learn the technical side of hatching chicks while exploring hands-on, classroom-ready science connections. Teachers can also earn USBE relicensure hours and continuing education credits through Utah State University.

🐣Our popular Hatching Science Professional Development Event is back! 🐣

Join Utah Agriculture in the Classroom on November 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM in Logan, Utah, for a hands-on workshop focused on hatching chicks, embryology, and classroom-ready science connections.

Teachers will earn USBE relicensure hours and USU continuing education credits and receive their own Hatching Science Classroom Resource Kit, including an incubator, brooder supplies, bedding, and curriculum materials tied to Utah’s Core Standards!
