Educators Rising students visited the Utah State Capitol Hill & the Utah Education Association in Salt lake City today! We learned all about educational policy, got tours of the buildings and met some incredible leaders who influence public education every day.

We are hosting two Educators Rising Information Sessions this fall for all interested teaching majors to help them explore, prepare and choose a project to take to the State Educators Rising Competition on March 5th at UVU.

Come grab some pizza, bring your classmates and friends, and see what Educators Rising Collegiate is all about!

Governor Cox announced a Read-A-Thon on October 2nd for the state of Utah.

Join CEHHS and Educators Rising for a Read A Thon in the Education Building YETC lab from 9am-11am on October 2nd! Bring a book you're currently reading, wear your pajamas if you'd like, and sit in on a read-in from some of our Teaching Faculty.

Join the Educators Rising Club for a special field trip to the Utah State Capitol and Utah Educators Association in Salt Lake City on Friday October 9th!

Spots are free, but limited, so please only RSVP if you do plan to attend. Register at the QR code by October 6th.

If you are ready to apply for STEP (Secondary Teacher Education Program) for Spring 2027, try to get your applications in by October 1st. We accept late applications until November 6th before registration week, so please get your background checks done ASAP if you haven't already!

If you are ready to apply for the Elementary or Early Childhood Education programs for Spring 2027, make sure to meet with your Academic Advisor before October 10th to get your application filled out. You also need your teacher FBI/BCI background check completed.
