Last Night at LHA: Pathways Learning Session!

Last night, Langston Hughes Academy welcomed families to a Pathways Learning Session!

This event provided students with the opportunity to explore the Pathway Programs, learning about the incredible opportunities available to them right here at LHA. We are so excited to continue this work and support students on their journey toward college and career success!

Why Do Pathways Matter?
Participating in a career pathway while in high school is a powerful way for students to gain early exposure to different industries, develop real-world skills, and build a strong foundation for their future careers. Whether through dual enrollment, hands-on training, or industry certifications, pathways help students make informed choices about their next steps—whether that’s college, trade school, or entering the workforce.

By engaging in a pathway, students don’t just learn about careers—they experience them. These programs open doors to internships, mentorships, and professional networks, helping students connect their learning to real-world opportunities. We’re proud to offer these experiences at LHA and can’t wait to see our students thrive!
