This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! This is a special time to show our teachers how much they are loved and appreciated. They love our children all through the school year, let's show them some love this week. Some ideas: send them a small gift or giftcard, write them a letter telling them they are appreciated, have your child write them a letter/card, bring them flowers, etc. And don't forget Paras, art teacher, music teacher, science lab teacher, coach, media specialist, etc.

Don't forget parents, the book fair is still going on until Friday of this week. There's no better way to get your kids reading than by letting them pick out books that match their interests. Also, every purchase at the book fair helps the media center add books to the library.
It's a win/win!

Good Morning Wildcats! Here comes the 2nd and final Scholastic Book Fair of the year at LGE! Want to earn credit towards free books? Well, come volunteer at the book fair! All you need to do is come in for a 2 hour shift to help kids make wishlists and pick books to purchase, and you earn $5 credit for each shift towards a book in the book fair! The Book Fair is next week in the media center, March 20-March 24th. Our shifts are 8:30-10:30, 10:30-12:30, and 12:30-2:30. Let us know which shift(s) you would like to help out. And as always, Thank you for your support. :)

Hey Wildcats! Tonight is Skate Night at Fun Galaxy in Jackson 5-8pm. This might be our last spirit night at Fun Galaxy, depending on the turn out...so come on out and have fun with us!
