Colorful Discoveries

10/12/2026

I'm done with this page again. I've rearranged it several times and while I get the people that enjoy it, it doesn't bring me income. The color of the day was fun, both times. The word of the day was intriguging, the old lady advice was small bits into my old-lady-ness. lol

I hope you find inspiration from the posts already here. I hope you find inspiration elsewhere, there are many great pages worth following and even subscribing to.

Whatever you are going through. You got this. Cheers.

I was let go from my job-job on Friday. What was supposed to be a small conversation about lunch times and how they've changed to be flexible in my department became a power trip from the "acting parts manager" and led to my resignation.

I had signs...several of them leading up to this, so I know I'm completely looked after in these changes.

Part of this became that I began journaling. I've written little things throughout my day, either how I feel, what I'm looking for, or jobs I'm applying to.

My one rule is that fear CANNOT enter the pages of the journal. I can write what I'm needing ahead in my life...what I actions I am taking...what I can look forward to.

This is shaping my future in positive ways. I highly recommend you give this a go.

I've always recommended journaling, writing on paper, particularly not WHITE paper, helps us with taking the mind chatter out of our head and helps us SEE next steps with clarity.

Try it...do it...create magic on paper for your life. Cheers!!!

I know I encourage you to explore colors and mean that completely. However, some colors may be tried for just a few moments, not the whole 30 days I generally recommend.

The color just does not agree with their energy at all. This is why I say sometimes adding a new color can be in the form of an accessory or decor.

Maybe wearing brown is something you'd refuse to do, but the right shade of brown on a mug may be something to consider. Or, you may like walking in dirt....

Red is a power color some people cannot add to their wardrobe, yet what red does may be good for that person, they just don't yet know how to harness the vibe.

I've always said, generally, not everyone has every color in their wardrobe. I don't. Some do and there's feelings behind that too.

Is there a color you will not consider? Do you want to talk about it?
