I successfully made kombucha!

What is kombucha?

Kombucha is a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black tea drink commonly consumed for its purported health benefits. Sometimes the beverage is called kombucha tea to distinguish it from the culture of bacteria and yeast.Juice, spices, fruit or other flavorings are often added.

Basically it's good for your gut health and has lots of probiotics!

About 2 months ago,I had added two extra nesting boxes on the ground under the original ones... As I was adding some barn lime to the coop, I decided to remove the extra boxes because they never use them. When I moved one, this is what I found! Two duck eggs and six chicken eggs! I thought my chickens were just starting to slow down a bit but it turns out they're a bunch of hoarders.

The new coop was a pain in the butt to load but with the help of a friend we got it on the trailer! All it needs is a bit of new hardware cloth and Gary and his ladies can move in!

This keto bread contains an ingredient called "psyllium husk powder". The bread on top was made with a new batch of psyllium husk powder. Depending on how finely ground the powder is, it reacts in the baking process and makes it blueish purple! 💜🍞💜
