**🚨 Maine, We Need to Speak Up! 🚨**
Central Maine Power is asking for **yet another rate increase**, and the people of Maine simply cannot afford to pay more.
Families, seniors, small businesses, and hardworking Mainers are already struggling with the rising cost of living. Another increase in our electric bills will only make things worse.
**Now is the time to make your voice heard.**
The Maine Public Utilities Commission (MPUC) accepts public comments before making decisions on rate requests. Every comment helps show how these increases affect real people.
**Here's how you can help:**
✅ Visit the MPUC Public Comment page.
✅ Find the current CMP rate case (or use the docket number if you have it).
✅ Submit your comments explaining how another rate increase would impact you, your family, or your business.
✅ Share this post and encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to do the same.
Our goal is to have **at least 50% of CMP customers** speak up. Imagine the impact if tens of thousands of Mainers submitted comments.
**Together, we can send a clear message: Maine deserves affordable, reliable electricity—not another rate increase.**

**Your voice matters. Your comment matters. Let's stand together and be heard.**
