I WOULD TO TAKE THIS TIME TO THANK EVERYONE OF OUR STAFF THAT WORKED WITH THE ACE PROGRAM AT ALL THE CAMPUSES. IT WAS A GREAT RUN WHILE IT LASTED. I ENJOYED EVERYDAY SEEING THE CHILDREN AND THEIR FACES AND THEIR SMILES.

Groundhog Day is an American tradition observed every year on February 2nd, which celebrates the weather prediction made by a groundhog.

What is Groundhog Day?
The premise is that every year some time in the morning of this day, a groundhog comes out of its den and if it sees its shadow on the ground and returns into the hole, that means there will be six more weeks of winter from that date. However, if the groundhog does not see its shadow, and stays out of its hole, it means that spring is near, and will arrive early.

Last night FLC ACE and LOLC ACE students and their families enjoyed the showing of Polar Express last night! Thank you Deidra Care for hosting us! Thank you to our conductor, Rachal Crawley, for making it all happen! Our tickets included pizza, cookies, drawings for presents, gift grab bags, yummy hot cocoa, chex mix, and of course we could hear our silver bells! It was an evening enjoyed by all! ❤️🎁💚

At our LOLC ACE Igniting Literacy Friday yesterday we heard the story, “Bear Stays Up for Christmas” by Karma Wilson! Then we made cookie cutter ornaments to take home and place on our trees! Or wear as a bracelet as some students decided to do! LOL! Then, we had some music and movement with a holiday vibe! There may have been jingle bells too! We hope you are enjoying the holiday season! ACE is the KEY to LOVE Learning!

Today at our LOLC ACE Relationship Building Monday, our students learned about letter writing. Guess who they wrote a letter to? Look below for a hint! ❤️
