-Public high school, grades 9 – 12, with a student enrollment of approximately 1880 students.-Chatfield Senior High School opened in fall 1985 and is one of 17 neighborhood high schools in Jefferson County School District (Jeffco).- The class of 2013 has approximately 470 students.- The school calendar is comprised of two semesters totaling 175 student contact days. The regular school day begins a
t 7:15 a.m. and ends at 2:27 p.m.-The school sits on a 33 acre campus at the base of the foothills.- Chatfield Senior High School offers 23 varsity sports. In 2011 – 2012, over 700 students participated in varsity, junior varsity, and level 3 sports. Chatfield also offers a robust unified sports program.- A wide variety of activities including Student Alliance, Leadership, Multi-Cultural Alliance, DECA, Marching Band, and Theater are offered.- Chatfield Senior High School articulation-area feeder elementary schools are: Bradford Primary/Intermediate, Coronado, Mortensen, Shaffer, Stony Creek, and Ute Meadows. Articulation-area feeder middle schools are Deer Creek and Falcon Bluffs.- Jefferson County School District encompasses approximately 790 square miles which includes urban, suburban, and mountain settings. There are 154 schools in Jeffco, with almost 86,000 students enrolled. It was a busy year for our Chatty athletes. We are thankful for all the hard work, dedication, training, and effort that our Chargers put in alongside of our coaches. It’s now time to learn from our past and prepare for our future. p/c Gage Lauer

Chatfield baseball was down to its final strike in an elimination game this morning (Saturday, May 23) at All-Star Park. The Chargers were down 1-0 to Fairview in the top of the 7th inning, but scored 3 runs all with two out to take the eventual 3-1 victory and stay alive in the 5A double-elimination state tournament.
Chatfield will play Legend in another elimination game that will begin around 12:30 pm at All-Star Park in Lakewood. Repost

Ms. Lazzeri’s female weightlifting, lifetime fitness, and wellness classes had a great two weeks of exercise. They went out and about in the community on their bikes. Special thanks to Cami, CC (from security), and Ms. Wurster for being guest riders!

Congratulations to our golf team for a great season. They finished in 12th place at state in the rain and snow - not ideal conditions for a state tournament.
