Welcome to Hanson College Consultants! My name is Penny Hanson. In my 12 years of college consulting experience, I have assisted hundreds of students with their college process. With my MS in School Counseling, I have consulted students with a wide variety of academic backgrounds, including International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement and First Generation. These students have attended colleges
ranging from community college to highly selective universities. Two years ago I formed a new business, Hanson College Consultants, to take advantage of proprietary technology as an Independent Education Consultant. Based in Littleton, Colorado, my services are utilized by students around the world. Hanson College Consultants’ approach to the college process is unique. I focus on personalized college planning which includes college search and identification of schools based on a student’s personality profile, interests, values and unique needs. College is a match to be made, not a game to be won! By merging this information with a proprietary database, we are able to produce an individual list of best fit, best match schools for each student. My services include development of a personalized list of colleges, college essay writing and review, timeline management, curriculum guidance, college visit information, interview skills, scholarship and financial aid assistance, test prep guidance and referrals, application completion and professional college selection review and decision. My services typically begin in the junior year of high school and continue throughout the college undergraduate experience. I have comprehensive packages for any planning need.
