✌🏼Peace Out, Class of 2039/2040! We are so proud of our Pre K’ers who will be moving on to Kinder or T-K!!! And a very happy last day and moving up to our other class rooms!

This year has been such a fun, amazing year and we are so thankful you’ve chosen SPELC for your family’s preschool journey! We truly love our families!

Sales from 5-8 will have 15% come back to our school fundraising efforts! Teacher incentives, building improvements, new equipment and grounds updates are on the books!

Our 2nd Annual Art Show with St. Philip Lutheran Church started TODAY! Beauty of the Earth is the theme this year and the kiddos knocked it out of the park!

Purchase your kiddos art work before or after school Thursday morning through Friday afternoon. This counts towards your Week of Giving total for the year and is a great way to highlight your child’s art work! IF YOU DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR CHILDS ARTWORK BY FRIDAY, church members will buy it! After receiving feedback last year, we felt passionately about giving parents 3 days before others can purchase ELC art 🫶🏼 but after that, it’s fair game!

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 17th- SPELC IS CLOSED TODAY! Jefferson County Public Schools has called today off with the below statement-

After consulting with Xcel Energy several times in the last 24 hours about the potential Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) scheduled for tomorrow, Jeffco Public Schools will be closed tomorrow (TODAY), Wednesday, December 17. Charter school families, please check your school’s website to verify weather-related delays and closures.

Due to the large geographic area anticipated to be impacted by power outages across Jeffco tomorrow and unknown restoration times, we determined that our facilities will likely experience significant disruption that could pose a safety risk to students, families and staff….

Ultimately, our responsibility is to prioritize safety which includes the ability to safely transport students to and from school, and ensure they have safe and warm buildings for learning. We have worked to make the best decisions we can based on the information provided to us by Xcel.
