"We began using BookShark when my son was 5 years old. We chose the full curriculum with Math-u-See and added Spelling-u-See and Wordly Wise to cover spelling, grammar and handwriting. By age 13, my son was prepared to begin in-person classes at our local community college through a concurrent enrollment program. He took Spanish I and II to fulfill his required high school credit, scored an A in both courses, and earned a written commendation from his professor. Since then, he has gone on to earn 40 college credits and will graduate this time next year with an associate’s degree. In addition, his recent SAT scores were above average - high enough to earn him a spot at any of our three universities in the state of Arizona. My son “graduated” the BookShark curriculum last year at age 15 with the completion of High School World History. The most important decision I ever made was to homeschool my son.
