🌟 Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Justina Iwegbu 🌟

We are proud to recognize Mrs. Justina Iwegbu, Special Populations Co-Director at Friendship Aspire Academy, for her dedication to our scholars and her continued commitment to education.

With 14 years of service in special education, Mrs. Iwegbu began her journey as a paraprofessional before earning her teaching certification and specializing in special education. Her passion for helping scholars grow and succeed led her to become an outstanding classroom educator, earning the honor of Teacher of the Year.

Today, Mrs. Iwegbu continues making an impact through leadership, professional development, and support for our special education teams across the district.

Her commitment to learning continues as well. She earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Arkansas State University.

Mrs. Iwegbu, we truly appreciate your leadership, dedication, and heart for our scholars. Thank you for everything you do and for continuing to make a difference throughout Friendship Aspire Academy! 🧡💜

Congratulations to 2026 ATC fellow Stephanie Akines on passing all four of the Praxis elementary content tests! 🎉✨ With the help of ATC's Praxis tutoring program, she increased her score in math by 31 points this summer! 📚💪 Stephanie teaches kindergarten math and science at Friendship Aspire Academy Pine Bluff.
