Originating in Mexico, el Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) is a unique holdiay that celebrates the lives of our deceased loved ones. On November 1st and 2nd, ofrendas (offerings) are displayed to honor those who have passed and welcome their spirits to reunite with their loved ones.

LALSA has created an altar underneath the stairs to be displayed October 31st - November 3rd. We welcome the Bowen community to contribute photographs of their loved ones who have passed on. Additionally, LALSA E-Board will be selling hot chocolate and cookies at a table near the altar Wednesday - Thursday as long as supplies last.

Don’t forget! This is the last week for the donation drive! Bring your items to the bin under the stairs.

Midterm season! LALSA will be hosting a 1L study session for Contracts I tomorrow on Saturday, October 7th from 3PM - 4:30PM in room 305.

Join us for our next meeting on Wednesday 10/4! Meeting starts at 5:15pm but if you have a merch order to pick up you can come at 5PM or pick up after the meeting.
