The MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History is pleased to present the traveling exhibit "Clara Barton: Angel of the Battlefield", on loan from the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, Maryland. The exhibit showcases the life and legacy of one of the Civil War’s most famous caregivers.

Tuesday night our guest speaker was Renee Mauch. Renee is a civil war reenactor and has been a docent at different museums. Her topic was Confederate Railroads and was highly entertaining and educational! Our next meeting will be Tuesday August 25th and the speaker will be Shane Lind speaking about Arthur McArthur-Civil War soldier and father to Douglas McArthur! Come join us for an interesting and informative time. We meet the fourth Tuesday of every month at 2nd Presbyterian Church (600 Pleasant Valley Drive in Little Rock) room 62 at 7pm. Everyone is welcome!
