Happy Thursday everyone! Here are some of our residents at their mentor group meetings this morning! Groups meet once a month on a Tuesday or Thursday morning. Each group consists of 2 attendings and a resident from each PGY level. The first hour is residents only. Attendings join for the second hour. Groups usually gather at a spot where they can get breakfast and coffee. During these meetings, residents discuss their current rotations, career planning, and how to get involved in research projects. Residents love their mentor groups because they also use this time to catch up with each other and check on everyone’s wellbeing.
Make sure to check out our story tomorrow for a continuation of a day in the life of a resident!
