🎉 Week One is officially in the books! 🎉

We are off to a wonderful start to our second week, and our students are settling in beautifully! 💙

Our first week was all about getting acclimated, reconnecting with friends, meeting teachers, and getting back into the rhythm of starting each day after a fun summer break. We are so excited for all that God has in store for our students, families, and school community this year. We truly believe He is going to do amazing things in their lives! 🙏✨

We can’t wait to share this journey with you all as we learn, grow, and make wonderful memories together throughout the school year!

🎓 Now Enrolling: AP Psychology for the 2026–2027 School Year! 🧠

STUDYS Ministries Christian Academy is excited to offer AP Psychology to homeschool high school students who are ready to challenge themselves with a college-level course in a Christ-centered learning environment.

Course Includes:
✅ Live instruction multiple times each week
✅ Assignments, quizzes, and grading
✅ High school transcript credit
✅ Teacher office hours for additional support
✅ Comprehensive AP Exam and college-prep instruction

This full-year, two-semester course is designed to help students develop critical thinking skills while earning rigorous high school credit and preparing for future college success.

Tuition: $1,399 per student for the full school year (two semesters)

Our High Schoolers had an amazing experience during their trip to the Art Institute of Chicago! 🎨✨ The students had the opportunity to explore the rich history behind the land and immerse themselves in the stories told through each incredible exhibit. From classic masterpieces to modern creations, every gallery brought different styles, cultures, and forms of art to life in such a meaningful way.

We are especially grateful for our wonderful guide, who took the time to share the history and deeper meaning behind specific pieces of art. The students asked thoughtful questions, made connections, and truly embraced the learning experience. It was inspiring to watch them engage with art in such a hands-on and interactive way.

To make the day even more special, students were able to tap into their own creativity by creating original artwork using odds and ends at the end of the visit. Seeing their imaginations come to life was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable day filled with learning, creativity, and inspiration.

Experiences like these remind us that learning goes far beyond the classroom walls. We are so proud of our Warriors for representing SMCA so well! 🖤💛

🐣 A Special Learning Experience in Action! 🐣

Our students had the incredible opportunity to witness the life cycle of chickens firsthand as our eggs hatched right before their eyes! From learning about incubation to watching each tiny chick break through its shell, this was truly a magical and unforgettable experience. 🥚➡️🐥

Throughout the process, our students observed, asked questions, and discovered how patience, care, and nature all work together to bring new life into the world. Being able to experience each step along the way made learning come alive in such a meaningful way!

Moments like these are what make learning so powerful—we are so proud of our students for their curiosity and excitement! 💛

🌟🔬 Our Science Fair was a HUGE success! 🔬🌟

We are beyond proud of our amazing Warriors for the incredible hard work, creativity, and dedication they showed throughout this exciting event. From researching important topics, designing experiments, testing hypotheses, gathering data, and carefully recording every detail, our students truly impressed us every step of the way.

Their curiosity, perseverance, and passion for learning were on full display, and it was inspiring to see so many thoughtful and innovative projects presented. Each student demonstrated what it means to work hard, think critically, and strive for excellence.

A big thank you to our teachers, staff, and families for supporting our students and helping make this event such a success. We are so proud of each and every one of our Warriors for their outstanding efforts and accomplishments!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Senator Mary Edly-Allen to our school this week! It was an honor to have her visit and learn more about all the exciting things we have in store for SMCA.

Senator Mary was incredibly kind, engaging, and encouraging as she spoke with our students. She shared the importance of using their voices, being involved in their communities, and understanding that even at a young age, they have the power to make a difference.

Our students truly enjoyed the opportunity to meet with her, ask questions, and hear firsthand about leadership and service. We are so grateful for her time, support, and the inspiration she brought to our school community.
