📢 FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR CHILDREN! ☀️🍎

The Marengo County School District is excited to offer FREE nutritious meals to children this summer!

✅ Free meals for all children 18 years of age and younger
✅ No registration required
✅ Healthy breakfasts and lunches available
✅ Meals must be consumed on-site

Our Summer Feeding Program helps ensure that children continue to receive healthy meals while school is out.

📅 Program Dates: June 1 - 12, 2026
📍 Locations: All School Sites

🚨 Half-Day Dismissal – Today 🚨

Due to the threat of severe weather this afternoon and evening, all Marengo County Schools will dismiss early at 1:00 PM today (Wednesday, May 6, 2026).
Lunch will be served prior to dismissal, and bus transportation will run at the adjusted time. There will be no afterschool activities or events. Forecasts indicate the possibility of high winds, severe storms, and potential tornadoes, and the timing of these conditions is a concern, especially for longer bus routes.

Please be sure to arrange your child’s care accordingly. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Thank you for your cooperation, and please stay safe while continuing to monitor weather updates.
