Don't forget to sign your teen up for Driver's Education!

It is time if your child is 15 yrs old or turning 15 soon. Your child must be 15 yrs old by the last day of the classroom portion. We schedule all drives based on a student's schedule (even difficult ones).

Safe Start Driving School is currently booking classes in both Northbrook and Lincolnshire for 2026 Spring, Summer and Fall classes! Please visit our website to see class dates and times.
Classes fill up quickly. If you are looking for a certain class, I suggest signing up sooner rather than later! We pick up (for the drives) at home or school.

We are approved to administer the state Road Test. We can also give the test to students that have done their program elsewhere with the correct paperwork. We truly have a great staff in place and enough road tests for everyone that wants them.

Safe Start Driving School - formerly Fresh Green Light. SAME OWNERS, SAME INSTRUCTORS, SAME EVERYTHING…the only thing that has changed is our name! Actually, for those that went through our program several years ago, something else has changed...we schedule all of the drives! I know many of our customers are loving this and are very happy with this change!
