During the 2016-17 school year, students at LHS will collaborate on the Excellence Project, a participatory photo and writing project focused on strengths. Ms.

During the 2016-17 school year, students can participate in the Excellence Project at Lincoln High School. Large photo portraits will be created by advanced photo students, printed by INSIDE OUT as a group action on strengths and character and displayed in the community and at LHS. Students can be involved:
-nominate LHS students for the portraits
-be part of the selection committee deciding which

News from the Inside Out Project:

We are thrilled to announce that your Action video was selected to be displayed as part of the exhibit “JR: Chronicles” at the Groninger Museum in Groningen, Netherlands!

Your Action was powerful, that’s why we chose to show your video to showcase the project and the amazing actions that have happened around the world. Through your footage, the Action lives on; people from around the world will hear your story, understand your message, and see the faces of your community.

The exhibit is on view now until June 2022.

I am thrilled to report that my proposal, The Excellence Project: Art as Story of Inclusion, was accepted as one of the presentations for the 2019 National Art Education Association conference in Boston. I will present our story on March 15. What an amazing journey this has been.

Haymarket Youth Festival 10/08/2017

October 6, 2017. The Excellence Project was part of the youth festival celebrating inclusion. It was fun to see new audiences interacting with it for the first time. LPS students did an amazing job. Shout out to Hannah Cass for her organization of this event!
