This past week we had our first group from Sanborn, Iowa. What an incredible time of service in the heat and the rain. These guys were the master concrete mixers, ceiling repairers, Lighthouse builders, flower planters, and so much more. Thank you for am amazing week.

As I was typing this verse, someone knocked on my door. It was a friend from the neighborhood who just lost her apartment and is staying at the Mission. She needed an extra pair of sweatpants. It was in my power to help her, and since I just read this verse, I thought I should probably do so. How about you? Who do you have the power to help today? I would love to hear your story!

It is hard to believe that it would be our first day of Intern orientation today. My heart is sad that I will not be gathering with this incredible group of college kids to prepare for our first Immerse team next week. Instead I am deep cleaning my kitchen--totally lame. I am hopeful that in the late summer and early Fall we will be able to host some small weekend trips for groups that are feeling ready to get out and DO SOMETHING! That would be awesome if we can get to that point!

We have one Immerse week available for next summer, if anyone is looking for a trip for their middle school or high school youth group! The week available is June 9-14.

Whew! Yard work is hard work, but you get to see your results right away. Today, the Immerse team from Hope Community Church right here in Lincoln assisted the yard crew at the Northern Lighthouse. @ Northern Lighthouse

Join us at F Street Neighborhood church on Saturdays for Neighborhood Bible Club. From 1:30 to 3:30, kids enjoy worship songs, crafts, a Bible story, and a SNACK.😋 (Just don't show up next week, we're not hosting NBC in observation of Independence Day.)

An amazing way to offer relief to working parents is providing childcare. By hosting a free childcare night at the Northern Lighthouse Church, Immerse groups give busy parents a night off to enjoy themselves.
