πŸ…πŸ’™ SPONSORS NEEDED FOR OUR 2027 SPECIAL OLYMPICS!

🌟 Help Us Support Our Athletes & Make 2027 Unforgettable! 🌟

We are reaching out on behalf of the DMS Cubs Special Needs Support Club as we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year. Our mission is simple but powerful: to create meaningful, inclusive, and memorable experiences for students with diverse abilities, especially those who proudly represent our school in the Special Olympics.

As a Tier 1 school, we have limited funding, especially for extra activities outside of our learning environment, and rely heavily on fundraising efforts and the generosity of community partners like you to provide these opportunities for our students.

This year, our main goal is to raise funds to purchase a custom shade wall for our Special Olympics tent. While we already have a tent, it does not provide enough protection from the sun during long event days. Our athletes spend hours outside competing, cheering on teammates, and waiting between events. This shade extension will give them a safe, cool, and comfortable place to rest, recharge, and fully enjoy their experience.

For our students, this isn’t just about comfort, it's about dignity, inclusion, and being able to participate to the fullest without being limited by the elements.

Any additional funds raised will go directly toward:
Providing lunches for our athletes during Special Olympics events
Creating fun and engaging activities for students to enjoy between competitions. Supporting educational field trips for our Custom Learning Classroom, giving students opportunities to learn and grow beyond the classroom.

These moments, sharing a meal, laughing between events, and exploring new places, are the experiences that build confidence, independence, and lasting joy.

Here's how you can make a difference:

Your donation, of any amount, will directly impact the lives of our students. It ensures they feel supported, celebrated, and included by the very community they represent.

As a special thank-you, donations of $100 or more will include your business logo on our 2027 Special Olympics team shirts, allowing you to stand proudly alongside our athletes as a visible supporter of their journey. All donors will also be recognized on our DMS Cubs page.

Monetary donations are always appreciated, but donations of gatorade, bottled water, and individually packaged snacks are also greatly appreciated. These items help keep our athletes hydrated, energized, and ready to compete throughout the day during practices, competitions, and Special Olympics events.

We truly believe it takes a community to lift our students up, and with your support, we can give them the experiences they deserve.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a lasting impact. If you would like to contribute or have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Today St. Clair Eye came and did a presentation for our Special Educational staff. If your child has special needs, St. Clair Eye in Pell City is a great option for having your child's eyes examined. I would recommend them overall if you wear glasses or need a exam.

🌟 Local Business Partners: We Need Your Support! 🌟

We are reaching out to our amazing Talladega County community businesses with a special opportunity to support our incredible Special Education staff!

On Thursday, July 30th, we will be recognizing and celebrating our dedicated Special Education team with a staff appreciation event. We are expecting approximately 100 staff members to be present, and we would love to partner with local businesses who are willing to help us show our appreciation for the educators and support staff who work tirelessly for our students every day.

Businesses have the opportunity to support this event by sponsoring:
🍽️ Lunch for our Special Education staff
πŸ₯€ Snacks and drinks for our staff members

As a thank you for your generosity and support, we would proudly display your company logo on our 2027 Talladega County Special Olympics shirts for DMS, showcasing your commitment to our students, schools, and community.

Sponsorships like yours make it possible for us to continue creating opportunities, celebrating our students, and recognizing the amazing people who serve them. We are truly grateful for businesses who invest in our schools and help make a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

If your business is interested in sponsoring lunch, snacks, drinks, or learning more about this opportunity, please contact:

🌟 Thank You, Lincoln Community! 🌟

We are so thankful for the incredible support we've already received for our Outdoor Teacher Oasis and Digital Sign Landscaping Project! Because of the generosity of our community, we're one step closer to creating a welcoming space for our teachers and making the front of our school more inviting for our students, families, and visitors.

We are still looking for a few items to help us complete our digital sign project by this weekend:

🌿 Low-maintenance plants
πŸͺ΄ Landscaping fabric
πŸͺ΅ Landscape edging/border to help keep the mulch in place

If you, your business, or someone you know would be willing to sponsor or donate any of these items, we would be so grateful. Every contribution, big or small, helps make a difference for our school.

As a special thank-you, all businesses and organizations that sponsor or donate to this project will have their logo proudly displayed on our 2027 Special Olympics shirts, recognizing your generosity and commitment to supporting our students, staff, and school community.

Please email your logo in JPG or PNG format to [email protected].

If you're able to help or have questions, please send us a message. Thank you for investing in Lincoln and helping us create a beautiful campus for everyone to enjoy!

✨ We Need Your Help! ✨
Our goal is to clear our Amazon Wish List and continue creating a custom learning classroom where our students with different abilities can learn, grow, and thrive in an environment designed just for them.

If you're able and would like to help, you can view our classroom wish list here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1F9BY8P2ZJ9J4?ref_=wl_share

Every item on our list has a purpose and is thoughtfully chosen to help our students become more successful and independent.

πŸ›’ The rolling carts will be placed at student work stations and stocked with the supplies needed for each activity. This will allow our students to independently gather the materials they need to complete their assigned tasks, helping build confidence and life skills.

⭐ The behavior chart serves as a visual tool that helps students recognize their choices, understand accountability, and celebrate positive behaviors.

πŸŽ‰ The reward charts provide a visual representation of their progress, showing them they are one step closer to earning a reward. These visual supports are incredibly motivating and help reinforce positive habits.

Every itemβ€”big or smallβ€”brings us one step closer to creating a classroom where our students feel empowered, supported, and excited to learn.
We are incredibly thankful for our amazing community of supporters who continue to believe in our students and our vision. Thank you in advance for your kindness, generosity, and support. We truly couldn't do this without you! ❀️
