Due to rain, tonight’s event celebrating Casey Prindle has been postponed to Saturday, June 27, from 5:30–7:30pm at the Beckers (5185 Quarry Ledge Rd, Roca, NE 68430). We look forward to seeing you then as we celebrate Casey’s impact on the CVA community!

Give to Lincoln Day is a giving day event that encourages everyone to contribute to Lincoln and Lancaster County nonprofit organizations through a single giving platform between May 1 and May 28. Give to Lincoln Day is coordinated by Lincoln Community Foundation, in partnership with local nonprofit organizations. Every donation given makes a bigger impact because nonprofits also get a proportional share of a $650,000 challenge match fund provided by Lincoln Community Foundation and the sponsors listed on this site.

Since the first Give to Lincoln Day in 2012, the event has raised $75 million for local nonprofits.

Sophomores dissected frogs in science class a few weeks ago! It was a hands-on learning experience that gave students the opportunity to explore frog anatomy up close. Some students enjoyed the experience more than others. 🙂

Either way, it was neat to see the intricacies of God’s amazing creation. Thank you, Ms. H, for providing this fun and educational hands-on experience for our students!

Yesterday morning, our kindergarten class spent time spreading kindness one kindness rock at a time all across the Union Adventist University campus!

From colorful designs to encouraging messages, these little acts of kindness were sure to bring smiles to everyone who discovered them. We are so proud of our kindergarten students for sharing joy and making a positive impact in the community!

Venito Taylor has been a valued part of the CVA family for 7 years! During his time at CVA, he has been involved in band, basketball, and campus ministries, making many memories and meaningful connections along the way. Venito says he will miss the people at CVA the most. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:4.

After graduation, Venito plans to attend Union Adventist University to study theology. Looking back on his years at CVA, Venito says his experience has truly been a blessing and something he will always be thankful for.

Congratulations, Venito! Your CVA family is so proud of you and excited to see all the amazing things God has in store for you!
