📢 Attention Scott Families: Important Health & Sports Physical Reminders
As we look ahead to the upcoming school year, it's time to check those medical to-do lists! Getting these appointments scheduled early helps you beat the late-summer rush and ensures your student is ready for day one.
Here is a quick breakdown of who needs what:
📋 Requirements by Grade & Activity
All Incoming 7th Graders: * School Physical: Required for school entry.
Updated Immunizations: Check with your pediatrician to ensure all required school vaccines are up to date.
7th & 8th Graders in Sports:
Sports Physical: Required before participating in any school sports tryouts, practices, or games.
💡 Why Book Now?
Beat the Summer Rush: Clinics fill up incredibly fast in July and August.
No Missed Practice: Students cannot participate in sports or start school without the completed paperwork. Getting it done now means zero stress later.
Peace of Mind: Cross it off your list and enjoy the rest of your summer break!
Next Step: Call your pediatrician or a local clinic today to secure an appointment. Don't forget to bring the required school or athletic forms for the doctor to sign!

🤖 6th Graders in Business & Technology class have ended their year by bringing coding off the screen and into the real world using our brand new Sphero Bolt+ robots! Students in Mrs. Peters classes have strengthened their coding skills by learning about loops, sequencing, synchronous and asynchronous coding, and have collaborated to solve challenges. Way to go, 6th graders! 👏 🤖

This morning, Publications 8 students got to see their Yearbook in real life for the very first time, and tomorrow so will you!
Yearbooks will be distributed Tuesday, 5/19 during 7th period. A limited quantity of books remain and will be sold ($30 cash or check ONLY) on a first come, first serve basis in the main office until we are sold out.
As a reminder, the students who MADE this book did so in less than a year and had never created a yearbook before. We sincerely hope you like it and give us a little bit of grace for the inevitable mistake or two.
