Words can either bring life to the recipient or tear down. I've been so convicted to be more careful with my words lately, especially as a mother. What great timing that I'm able to read an early copy of by .clarkson and . So far this book has been so refreshing and a great reminder of the power of words to my children. Love it!

I'm a big dreamer. I wouldn't say my dreams are unattainable, but many times they take a long time to come to fruition for me.

Long periods of waiting. Years of working toward the dream, with no results. Dreams that look different when they go happen, which creates unanticipated outcomes.

One thing I've learned, is because I lean on the Lord for all things in life, my dreams are always intertwined within His. Life isn't just a flat line I can plan and follow because people aren't always predictable. My dreams walk hand in hand with relationships, with God and with the ebb and flow of a sin filled world.

What can I expect then?

I am looking forward to my current dreams to blow my mind when they finally happen. I welcome the changes that I didn't see coming, but will ultimately make these dreams better than I thought possible.

I remember that each dream of mine that I'm already living requires work, sacrifice, and some pain but contains elements from God and joy, happiness, bliss, heart explosions, stretching, maturing and a clearer vision into God's goodness and love.
