Live music starts in just under an hour at Nebraska Innovation Campus as we welcome Sister Sadie and Corson Branch Buzzard Club to the Nebraska Innovation Campus plaza!

Nebraska Bluegrass Concert Series concerts are free and open to the public. Food and drink are available for purchase from The Mill Coffee & Bistro starting at 5:00 p.m. Tours of Nebraska Innovation Studio will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. Live music starts at 6:00 p.m. Please bring your own chair. Free parking is available in the lot north of Transformation Drive.

With high temps tonight, concertgoers may bring sealed, non-alcoholic bottles of water into the NIC Plaza. Empty water bottles are always allowed and can be refilled at the indoor water bottle filling station near the restrooms.

Today's the day we welcome bluegrass music back to the Nebraska Innovation Campus plaza with Sister Sadie and Corson Branch Buzzard Club! Live music starts at 6:00 p.m. this evening.

Nebraska Bluegrass Concert Series concerts are free and open to the public. Food and drink will be available for purchase from The Mill Coffee & Bistro starting at 5:00 p.m. Tours of Nebraska Innovation Studio will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. Live music starts at 6:00 p.m. Please bring your own chair. Enjoy build-your-own cantina bowls, prepared by Chef Kevin Kobayasahi, featuring grilled chicken tinga, carne asada, cilantro lime rice, Spanish rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, fajita veggies, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa roja and salsa verde.

Exciting news! Michael Burton has been named the next director of Nebraska Innovation Studio.

Burton, an artist, filmmaker, educator and creative technologist, succeeds long-time Innovation Studio director David Martin, who retired in July 2026. Burton previously served as an associate professor of art and digital fashion for the Department of Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He brings more than 16 years of experience working at the intersection of art, technology and hands-on making to the Innovation Studio team.

Burton is excited to lead the Nebraska Innovation Studio team and be part of the studio’s culture of collaboration.
