Begining this year, Nebraska FCCLA has started a mentorship program to increase community within our chapters. The program involves an older mentor and a younger mentee. If you are interested in either of these roles, please talk to your adviser and be on the lookout for more information. Our workshop on mentorship at the FLC in Lincoln will also give experienced mentors the information they need to join this new and exciting program!

Nebraska FCCLA made an incredible impact at the 2026 National Leadership Conference! ❤️🤍

🏆 251 members competed in Challenge Tests, Skill Demonstration Events, and STAR Events, with 181 entries across all events.

We brought home:
🥇 105 Gold Medals
🥈 115 Silver Medals
🥉 17 Bronze Medals
⭐ 69 Top 10 Finalists
🏅 18 Top 3 Finalists
🥇 8 First-Place Winners

We also had:
🌽 385 Nebraska attendees
🎤 8 Nebraska members led an NLC workshop
🗳️ 3 Nebraska members served as National Voting Delegates

🎉 Twin River FCCLA was named the Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety (FACTS) National Program High School Winner. 🚗💙

👏 Suzanne Neefe of Hemingford Public Schools received the 2026 Spirit of Advising Award. ❤️

We represented Nebraska with pride this year, and we couldn't be more proud!!
