Memories of our first Shakespeare Performance!

It has been a busy summer with baseball, friends and family! Looking forward towards this school year, knowing many of our students have graduated or are now continuing their education elsewhere, we are contemplating our plans for the year. Designed to Shine has experienced many blessings through all associated and we have had many wonderful times. We will certainly pursue a direction to enable many others to use their talents and share them in our community, however, at this time our plans are uncertain. Please continue to shine for all of those around you and be in prayers for our future plans. In the meantime, may you have a blessed day!

Coming in April, A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM, special daytime show for students and parents. Student tickets $ 3.00, parents admitted Free. Show will last about two hours, with an intermission. Parents, please be mindful of others as far as young children, while this is set for a student audience, please be courteous and step into foyer with children who may cry for their various reasons. We have been invited to attend on Tuesday, April 1, and/or Wednesday April 2nd both performances will begin promptly at 10 AM. This is for Lincoln and surrounding Area Homeschool students and families. I am certain there will be some other schools invited as well. Join us as we share a familiar story retold as Mr. Scrooge endures years of a lonely pointless life. After years of hearing friends and loved ones repeatedly witness the grace of God, retires to bed on a very lonely Christmas eve. Through a restless night of remembering the Grace he has spurned and recognizes the great weight of his sin, his speculation on the future and reality breaks his will and he kneels at the cross. Please join our homeschool youth as they retell this story with the joy and artistic talent as God has blessed them.
Free Will donation will be collected for missions of the churches that have helped us with the space to meet. God Bless Us Everyone!

Deidre Starks and a few others are putting together a 'Christmas for Cole' and would appreciate any donations. Cole is a 3 year old that is losing his battle to cancer.
