Happy birthday Maverick #2

This boy can run miles and miles, take a break and play ball for an hour before running laps again! He has more energy than humanly possible, he has the grace of godzilla and has no clue who and what he knocks over by accident, and he at times thinks he's a goat and climbs!!!

He's Officer Jeff's best pup at home ang school, he's loved by students and staff at Donegal Elementary Mount Pleasant Area School District and he's so smart he knows right from wrong but sometimes likes to just push our buttons!

Thank you Emily Balchik Gun Dogs Gone Wild he is perfect in every way for our family and mission.

Maverick and Hoyt were busy visiting their friends at the Gene Cook Supports, LLC Farm today. They enjoyed running in the rain, splashing in puddles and giving some love. Maverick was kind enough to provide entertainment chasing birdies and loving on everyone while Hoyt left the birdies alone and gave lots of love and watched his silly little brother!

Thank you to everyone at the farm for always loving on these pups, we love our visits.

Keep your pups safe!

Dogs generally need extra caution above 70 F, and outdoor activity should be limited as temperatures approach 80 F and higher.

Provide fresh water, shade, and cooling breaks, and contact your vet if your pet shows signs of overheating.

How Hot Is Too Hot for Dogs?

Below 70 F: Most dogs are comfortable.

70–79 F: Use caution with long walks or extended outdoor time. Brachycephalic breeds and senior dogs may feel the heat sooner.

80–89 F: Limit activity to short walks. Keep playtime indoors or offer water if outside.

90–99 F: Avoid outdoor time except for quick bathroom breaks.

100 F and above: Stay indoors. Temperatures over 100 F can be life-threatening.
