PennWest California TRIO Student Support Services The Department of Student Services at PennWest California serves eligible students through our Federal TRIO Grant and Pennsylvania Act 101 Grant.

Our faculty also serve as the primary advisors for all Exploratory Studies students at the Cal campus.

Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) welcomed its newest members on April 22 with the first in-person induction since the chapter was established at PennWest California.

11 new members were initiated to Tri-Alpha, which is a national honor society recognizing the academic achievements of first-generation students.

Members of PennWest California TRIO Club spent part of Saturday working alongside nearly 50 high school students who participate in the TRIO Upward Bound Program as they marked the 40th anniversary of National TRIO Day. Together, the students created tie blankets forDomestice Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania, using the day of service to support the community.
