School is about to be in full swing once again! I have a few openings left for weekly tutoring.

Hello! My name is Mollie Bratten and I have been a teacher in the DeKalb County school system for 12 years. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 8th grades at Northside Elementary and DeKalb West Elementary. I received my Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. I earned a certification in ESL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Trevecca University as well as being highly qualified in both Reading and Social Studies. I have taken professional development classes at Vanderbilt University in teaching gifted students. Our children have lost a lot of time and education throughout the last two years, and I would like to extend my services to any child needing extra help. Below is a list of services I plan to offer along with prices. If you have any questions or wish to set up a session, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kindergarten “I’m Ready to Read and Write” Sessions Ages 3-5
July Back to School Bootcamp for upcoming 2nd and 3rd graders

ACT Prep sessions (4 sessions) $200.00 (will do individual or group sessions) This includes testing strategies, skill prep, time management, and two practice tests.
Tutoring $30 per hour per child or $25 per hour per child for group tutoring or siblings)
Kindergarten “I’m Ready to Read and Write” sessions $25 (per hour per child) This is literacy focused sessions.
