It’s been 11 years since we taught our first lesson in Texas! We moved here in August 2015 and started teaching in Cedar Park in a shared space with The Studio Cedar Park. We taught there for 5 years until Covid forced us online and we decided to embrace online teaching. Pictures of our family, Wilson School of Strings in Cedar Park, TX, and a performance with our students during those years! We feel lucky to get to play, teach, and share our joy of music with all of our students, then and now 😄❤️🎹🎻🎶🎸

In case you wondered how you can learn from us- we’ve not stopped teaching online for the last 6 years, even though we work out of our studio in Liberty Hill, TX. So if you live far away, or just don’t want to brave the traffic- we still want to jam with you!

When we can, we teach in classes- it’s motivating for kids especially. Putting different instruments together lets us explore the tunes from multiple angles, and everyone is learning good rhythm the whole time.
🤔The down side though- kids have constantly evolving schedules so these two will have to be on different days for now. I’m putting them on my list of friendships formed through our studio though 😜🎶🎹🎻

Playing music with the youngest kids is so much joy- they may not always practice at home but they come to class with enthusiasm, remember EVERYTHING, and are not afraid to jam, make mistakes, and jam again!
