We LOVE seeing the impact of Numeracy Counts!
Today, Allen County Schools held a “Choose Your Own Path” District PD Day, with staff members leading professional learning around practices they have found transformative in their own classrooms.
We were especially excited to see Cohort 1 participants share their learning with colleagues across the district! Their session highlighted Numeracy Counts takeaways and strategies they have successfully implemented. Educators had the opportunity to experience the learning through hands-on activities.
The group made connections between the Numeracy Counts work and Allen County’s Profile of a Patriot graduate profile!
This is exactly what we hope to see: educators taking what they’ve learned, putting it into practice, and then sharing that learning with others. That’s how professional learning moves beyond a session and begins to create lasting impact across classrooms, schools, and districts.
Way to go, Allen County! We love seeing the ripple effect of this work! 👏 Thank you, Melissa Adams Biggerstaff for sharing.
