A night of gratitude, connection, and reinforcing what it means to be a Wildcat for life. Last Friday our Ambassadors had the pleasure of working and attending the Alumni Association’s Annual Scholarship Dinner. This dinner celebrates students from across the state of Kentucky and the country who have the privilege of calling UK their home. We are so grateful for the generosity of our Alumni, and the support they provide for our students!

Let’s hear from Camryn Mudd on how Alumni Ambassadors and the Bowman Buddy Program have shaped her experience at UK! 💙
“The Bowman Buddy aspect of Alumni Ambassadors has been such a rewarding experience! Having the opportunity to help foster a deeper understanding for the values of the organization in a younger member has been very rewarding. It has brought not only me and my bowman buddy closer but the entire organization!
I think anyone who has been positively impacted by this university should apply. Alumni Ambassadors allows students to bridge the gap between student and alumni, creating long lasting relationships while setting students up for a successful future! I could not say enough good things about this experience and encourage every single wildcat to consider applying!“

Hi my name is CeCe Gregory! I’m a senior from Shelbyville, KY. This is my second year as an alumni ambassador and my first year on exec! This year I’m serving as Vice President of Membership and it has been an incredible privilege to lead such an amazing group of students here at UK. Being an Alumni Ambassador is one of my favorite experiences that I have been able to be a part of in college. The connections, skills, and opportunities it has granted me are invaluable. As, VP of membership, I can’t wait to see how a new class of ambassadors will continue to shape this program.
I hope to see everyone at the open house tomorrow from 6:30-7:30! Applications are open! Everyone go apply!

Why should you apply to be an Alumni Ambassador? Read to see why Ella Hoehner applied and what she has gained from it!

“I have been a part of the Alumni Ambassador program for 3 years and I can without a doubt say that it has been one of the best experiences of my college career. Through this program I have had the opportunity to meet so many other students and grow those friendships as well as network with professionals in my future career field. This program has given me so many opportunities to connect and truly grow my leadership skills that I know will help me so much in the future and I am forever grateful for that. From networking opportunities, to public speaking skills, to becoming more involved in the campus culture at UK, this program has given me so much and I highly recommend it to any student on any career path!”
